MAY 1 TOURNEY OVERVIEW:
It was a day of huge surprises - right off the bat. Milwaukee's Best came out right away with a 3-0 lead, only to see a comback from the favorite Coors Light with 3 close decision to force an extra time decision that caused an upset that shocked everyone. Bud Light shook heads with a smooth drinkability on the blind test but ended up losing the championship by an extra time decision. The most votes to win the tournament were given to Grain Belt Premium, but getting knocked out in the first round brought tears to a couple of loyal Premium drinkers. No one expected Michelob Golden Light to win it all, but time after time it matched up as the beer that was smooth tasteful and enjoyable to drink (especially in the later rounds). All in all, this tournament was an extremely fun to be a part of and plans are in the works to continue our scientific approaches to answer the question: What is the best beer?
